Carol Bracy

Director

Carol Bracy has been a public interest attorney for 40 years, 27 years of which has been with Greater Bakersfield Legal Assistance, where she supervises the First Five Guardianship Caregiver program for young children. Ms. Bracy has served as a Board Member of the Kern County Bar Association for several terms and is an officer with the Multicultural Bar Alliance Section.

After graduating from the University of Southern California School of Law and becoming an attorney, Ms. Bracy worked with non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in Thailand and the Philippines, serving with Southeast Asian Refugees. It was during that period that she solidified her love for learning about other cultures.

Ms. Bracy attempts to live out her beliefs through service to others. She can’t wait for the pandemic to end so that she can once again spend in–person time with people!
