Born and raised in Bakersfield, I am proud to assist my hometown community. I graduated from Foothill High School and then attended Bakersfield College. I earned my degree in English from Fresno State and my Juris Doctorate from San Joaquin College of Law. Returning to Bakersfield to serve the community was always my goal. I passed the State Bar of California in 2010 and since then I have volunteered for many organizations including The Kern County Bar Association's Women Lawyer's Section, Kern County Young Lawyer's Section and Kern County Criminal Defense Section.
I am formerly with the Tulare County Public Defender's Office and The Law Office of David A. Torres. I am a graduate of the National Criminal Defense College and the Gerry Spence Trial College.
Through my years of legal experience, I have grown to understand the complexities of our legal system. More importantly, I understand the community I was raised in and I understand the needs of my clients.
