Amanda Lucas
Amanda Lucas is a partner with LeBeau Thelen, LLP and has enjoyed practiced with the firm since returning to Bakersfield in 2014. Her practice primarily focuses on litigation, specifically the defense of health care providers in medical malpractice cases throughout Central and Southern California. She also practices with the firm’s transactional practice group.
Amanda grew up in Bakersfield and is a graduate of Garces High School and CSUB. She received her Juris Doctorate from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in 2006. After practicing in Sacramento and Los Angeles, she returned home to be near family and joined LeBeau Thelen.
Amanda is a past Treasurer of the Women Lawyer’s Section and was a member of the Young Lawyer’s Section for many years. In addition to her involvement in the legal profession, she also serves on the Board of Directors for CASA. Amanda is honored to be a nominee for the KCBA Board of Directors and is excited for this wonderful opportunity to serve her colleagues within the legal community.
